Please, don’t do anything at all. Clutter when observed carefully can really tell a story: how you move around the house, what’s working and what is not. Understanding how clutter forms is a big part of assessing the space. Professional organizers will benefit the most when able to see the house exactly as it is. Proper planning will help present new ideas or systems to help you solve a clutter and organizational problem. After the first session you will have a clear idea of the process and how to move forward, and although not required to do so, you can advance on as much work as you wish.

During our organizing sessions, you are encouraged to be a part of the process. Deciding what stays and what goes is a very personal process. It is also a brain muscle that needs to be exercised and will help you tackle other parts of your home much more easily. My hope is that as we go through the process you will pick up all kinds of techniques and tricks to start looking at your space in a different light. And who knows? You may actually start loving the feeling of freedom that comes from building intentionality around your space, and the relationship to your items.

That said, many times it may simply not be an option for you to be there, whether you are a busy working person, a mom of young kids, are currently sick or have any kind of impediment to actually go through the process. We will have a detailed assessment at the beginning, so I can create and execute a good plan to get your space working smoothly. And we will have a walk-through of the finished project and systems at the end.

At the end of each session, I’ll help you get all recycling and trash to their respective bins. I can also bring one car load of donations to a local charity.

If you have large quantities I can help you schedule a junk hauler or recycling service as needed.

The first 20 miles (round trip) from the 55407 zip code to the service address and back are free. Beyond that there is a flat fee rate:

0-20 miles: Free

20-50 miles: $35 Flat Fee

50-100 miles: $125 Flat Fee

Yes. Fernanda is a professional organizer, certified through ASPO, the American Society of Professional Organizers.

I am fully vaccinated, and continue to get the boosters as they are made available. I want you to feel comfortable during our sessions, so I’m happy to wear a mask if that is your preference. Please don’t hesitate to let me know. I will cancel at any sign of sickness.
