This is a 20-30 minute phone call to learn more about your organizing needs, your goals and expectations. I will ask you questions that would help form a clear idea of what you want to accomplish in your space. I may request photos of the area to be organized. At this consultation, if you are ready to start, we will schedule an In-Home Assessment.
This is a one hour In-Home Assessment, during which time we’ll take a close look at your space and talk about your lifestyle as it relates to your organizing needs. This conversation lays the foundation of our work together.
I’ll give you a time estimate to complete this project. This will help you decide what organizing package to purchase. The more hours you purchase the better the hourly rate will be. There is a $75 Assessment fee due at the time of service, paid via cash, check or credit card. If I’m hired for the project, 50% of that fee will be applied toward a package of 12 or more hours. The fee is non refundable if Home on Purpose is not hired for the project.
During our hands-on sessions I will guide and support you in making decisions over what to keep and what goes. However, every decision will be made by you. I will be by your side to ensure you pick up a good flow and a healthy decluttering rhythm.
I offer to take one vehicle-load of donations to a donation site at no additional charge. In addition, I can help you coordinate a pick up of larger or heavier items.
One of my goals in organizing is to help you find systems that make it easy to maintain all the hard work you have done. I will help you find a designated place for each item in your space. This is where things really come together and we begin to create order in your space(s). I will offer ideas, suggestions, and advice for your space(s), but you will have the final say on all decisions and placement of items.
I strive to utilize any organizing products you already have, however, if new organizing products are needed or desired, I will send links for suggested products. You will be responsible for purchasing the products.
